友達が今日赤ちゃんを産みました
Today, we talked about pregnant.
今日は、妊娠について話しました
I said,
“My friend gave birth to a baby today!
I’m very happy!”
私「友達が今日赤ちゃんを産みました！
とても嬉しいです！」
“Oh! Congratulations!
Is it a girl?
Or boy?”
先生「わーおめでとう！
女の子？
それとも男の子？」
“It’s a girl.”
「女の子です」
“Ah nice!
Are you planning to visit her?”
「あーいいですね！
彼女のところに行く予定はありますか？」
“Umm…
I want to go to there but it’s little bit far from here.
And She still in hospital.
Caesarean birth?
She said had heavy operation.”
「うーん…
私はそこに行きたいけど少し遠いんです
あと彼女はまだ病院です
帝王切開？
彼女は大変な手術だったと言ってました」
“Oh Caesarean…
It takes longer here.(?)
Is she safe?”
「あぁ帝王切開…
それは長くかかります（？）
彼女は安全ですか？」
“Yes, She is safe.
But I’m worried about her.”
「はい、安全です
でも彼女が心配です」
“I see.
Is it a first time?”
「そうですか
（出産は）初めてですか？」
“Yes it’s a first time.
Actually,
We went to famous shrine two years ago.
She wished that ‘I want to have baby’.
After that She got baby soon. “
「はい初めてです
実は、
私達は2年前に有名な神社に行きました。
彼女は『赤ちゃんが欲しい』とお願いしました。
その後、彼女はすぐに赤ちゃんを得ました。」
“Oh nice!
but you can say,
‘She got pregnant soon after that.’
That’s very nice!”
「あーいいですね！
でもこう言って下さい、
『彼女はその後すぐに妊娠しました』
あーとてもいいですね！」
※どうやら「赤ちゃんが出来た」という言い回しは日本風らしいので「妊娠した」と言った方がいいらしい
