今日は、家具について話しました

「今日は仕事はどうでしたか？」

「何か変わったことあった？（何かした？）」

“Today, I was chosing new furnitures on the internet.”
「今日はネットで新しい家具を選んでました」

“Oh one more time,
‘Today, I was choosing new furniture online.’
Not furnitures,
Because furniture can be used in plural form.
If you want to use it in plural form say pieces of furniture.
For example,
‘I was choosing pieces of furniture online.'”
「あぁもう一回、
『今日はネットで新しい家具を選んでました』
ファニチャー「ズ」ではないです
なぜなら家具は複数形で使用することが出来るので
「もし複数形で使いたい場合は家具のピースを言います。
例えば、
『私はネットで家具のピースを選んでました』」

ピース→家具のうちの何かしらを指す

“Ah…I understand now”
「あー…今理解しました」

“So do you still buy anything?”
「それで何かもう買いましたか？」

“Not yet”
「まだです」

“What were you looking for?”
「何を探していたんですか？」

“I want to buy dining table and chairs.”
「ダイニングテーブルと椅子が買いたいです」

“Are you looking for someting modern? antique?”
「探してるのは何かモダンな？アンティークな？」

“Umm…Maybe modern?
I want to buy Eames.”
「うーん…たぶんモダン？
イームズが買いたいです」

“Eames? Is this a brand?”
「イームズ？ブランドですか？」

“Yes, Charles & Ray Eames?”
「はい、チャールズ＆レイイームズ？」

“Ah! This is a modern!
Modern furniture!
Nice!”
「あぁ！これはモダンです！
モダンな家具！いいですね！」

“Is it expensive?”
「高いですか？」

“Soso”
「まあまあです」

“I hope you find good one.
Why ware you choosing new furniture online?
What’s wrong with your furniture?
Why are you buying new dining table?”
「いいものが見つかるといいですね
なんで新しい家具を探してるんですか？
今の家具が悪いんですか？
なぜ新しいダイニングテーブルを買うんですか？」

“Because I don’t have dining table now.”
「なぜなら私は今ダイニングテーブルを持っていないので」

「えっ!!!本当に!?
どこで食べるの!?」

I sit on the TATAMI.
I don’t use chairs.
I use table and cushion.”
「どこって？うーん…
日本式？
畳の上に座ります。
椅子は使いません。
