又吉の本「火花」を読みました
Today, we talked about a book written by MATAYOSHI.
今日は、又吉の本について話しました
My teacher asked me,
“How was your day?
What did you do during in your free time?”
「今日はどうでしたか？
フリータイムに何をしましたか？」
“I had little work today.
I have enough time.
So I bought and read a new book.”
「今日は仕事が少ししかなかったです。
十分な時間があります。
だから新しい本を買って読みました」
“What was the book all about?”
「何の本でしたか？（？）」
“This book a very famous in japan these days.
it received the famous award last week.
And this book written by comedian.
It was about two comedians story.
I didn’t think that was good, honestly.”
「それは最近日本で有名な本です。
この本は、先週の有名な賞を受賞しました。
この本を書いたのは芸人です。
2人の芸人についての話でした。
私は正直面白いと思わなかった」
“What’s the name a comedian?”
「その芸人の名前は何ですか？」
“His name is Naoki Matayoshi.”
「彼の名前は又吉直樹です」
“Oh ok,
The writer of the book is Naoki Matayoshi.
Is it comedy?
Is it funny?”
「あーOK、
その本の作家は又吉直樹ですね。
コメディですか？
おかしいですか？」
“No, It was a little sad story.
「いいえ、少し悲しい話でした」(←別に悲しくはない)
“Oh, If it’s sad you can say,
‘It’s a tragic story’.
Did someone die in the story?”
「あー、もし悲しい話の時はこう言って下さい、
『悲劇的な話です』
誰か死ぬ話ですか？」
“Ah ok, it was a tragic story.
Nobody dies but someone is sick.”
「あーOKです。悲劇的な話でした。（←実際別にそんな話でもない）
誰も死なないけど誰かが病気です」
“So did you finished book?
Did you like the story?”
「それでその本は読み終えましたか？
その話は好きでしたか？」
“Yes I finished.
It was boring to me.
Because I couldn’t understand well that ending.”
「はい、読み終わりました。
私にはつまらなかったです。
私は結末がよく理解できなかったので」
“Oh too bad!
Tell me What happened in the story!”
「あー残念ですね！
その話で何が起こったのか教えて下さい！」

There are two poor comedians in the story.
2人の漫才師の話です。
They are stand-up comic duo.
彼らは漫才コンビです。
They had different partner each other.
彼らはお互いに別の相方がいました。
TOKUNAGA is 20 years old and very timid.
KAMIYA is 24 years old.
He has a bright personality.
徳永は20歳で臆病、
神谷は24歳で、明るい性格です。

One day,
They met in fireworks display at the comedy show for their work.
After finished their work,
Kamiya asked Tokunaga to go for a drink.
They hit it off each other.
(正→They enjoyed each other’s company.)
ある日、
彼らは花火大会で漫才ショーの仕事で会った。
仕事の後に、
神谷が徳永を飲みに誘った。
彼らは意気投合した。
（※↑とweblioに書いてあったのでそう言ったら通じなかった）
正しくは⇒「彼らはお互い楽しんだ」と訂正された
Kamiya told Tokunaga suddenly,
“I want you to write my life story.”
Tokunaga said,
“OK sure.”
突然神谷は徳永に言った、
「俺は自分の伝記をお前に書いてほしい」
徳永は答えた、
「いいですよ」と。
TOKUNAGA became to KAMIYA’s pupil.
徳永は神谷の弟子になりました。

Kamiya treats Tokunaga always.
But Kamiya has a lot of debts.
Tokunaga didn’t know that.
神谷はいつも徳永をおごった。
でも神谷はたくさん借金があった。
徳永はそれを知らなかった。

A few years later.
Tokunaga became a famous comedian.
He made a lot of money and he lived in an expensive apartment.
He succeed.
But Kamiya wasn’t successful.
数年後、
徳永は有名な芸人になった。
彼は沢山稼いで、高いマンションに住んだ（そんな描写あったかな？）
彼は成功した。
でも神谷は成功しなかった。
And Kamiya made a lot of debts and he ran away.
Tokunaga looked for him, but he couldn’t find him.
そして神谷は沢山借金を作って逃亡した。
徳永は彼を探したが、見つけることが出来なかった。

A few years later
数年後、
TOKUNAGA popularity declines bit by bit.
少しずつ徳永は仕事が減った。
He broke up with his partner.
彼は相方と解散した。
His partner had gone back to his hometown to get married.
彼の相方は結婚するために故郷に行ってしまった。
TOKUNAGA searched about their broke up news on the internet.
徳永は自分達の解散についてネットで見た。
There were some comments about it.
いくつかコメントがあった
Most of comments were bad.
ほとんどのコメントは悪かった。
“Who is this?”
「誰？」
“I don’t know him.”
「こいつ知らない」
“They were very boring.”
「彼らはとてもつまらなかった」
“I’m surprised they are still doing that.”
「まだやってたとは驚いた」
“Incompetent comedians.”
「無能芸人」
TOKUNAGA finished reading the news.
徳永はそれらを読み終えて、
And then,
He realized the people had forgotten about us.
彼は自分達がすでに人々に忘れられていたことに気付いた
one year later
Suddenly,
TOKUNAGA got a phone call from KAMIYA.
1年後
突然、
徳永は神谷から電話がきた
TOKUNAGA met KAMIYA at the bar after a long time.
徳永は神谷に久しぶりに飲み屋で会った。
KAMIYA looked very haggard.
神谷はとてもやつれて見えた。
KAMIYA said,
“I wasn’t able to pay a debt so I was personal bankruptcy.
I am being chased by debt collectors now.
神谷は言った
「俺は借金を返せなかったから自己破産した
俺は借金取りに追われている」
KAMIYA got breast enlargement surgery.
神谷は豊胸手術を受けていた。
Tokunaga said,
“You are not Gender identity disorder.
Why did you do that?”
徳永は言った
「性同一障害ではないのに
なぜそんなことをした？」
Kamiya said,
“Is it funny?”
神谷は言った
「面白いだろ？」
TOKUNAGA was appalled.
and
“You don’t have moral.”
徳永は愕然とした。
そして
「モラルが無い」と言った。
KAMIYA felt regret about that.
神谷は後悔して、
“I never cannot appear in public.”
「俺はもう人前に出られない」
TOKUNAGA asked KAMIYA to go on a trip.
徳永は神谷を旅行に誘った。
They went to hot springs trip.
彼らは温泉旅行に行った。
They were holding the comedy party In the town.
その町ではお笑い大会が開催されていた。
※お笑い大会なんて言葉が英語であるかどうかは知らないから勝手にパーティーと言った
KAMIYA said,
“I want to perform at the comedy party!”
神谷は言った
「このお笑い大会に出たい！」
KAMIYA looked healthy.
神谷は元気そうに見えた。
