Today, we talked about air conditioner.
今日は、エアコンについて話しました

“I went to my new house today.
And then, I had a discussion with air conditioner staff.
After that, I bought a new air conditioner.”
「今日は（今度引越しする）新しい家に行きました。
そして、エアコン業者と打ち合わせをしました。
その後、新しいエアコンを買いました」

“Oh! I envy you!!”
「あーうらやましいです！」

“Ah…Do you have an air conditioner?”
「あ…エアコン持ってないんですか？」

“We do!
But It’s broken!!”
「持ってますよ！
でも壊れてます！」

“Really?
I think Phillipines is very hot.”
「本当ですか？
フィリピンはとても暑いと思いますが」

“Yes!
That’s why I’m wearing this!
Because I cann’t use the air conditioner.
So, how many?”
「そうですよ！
だから私の着ているのはこれなんです（←タンクトップ1枚）
なぜならエアコンが使えないので
それで幾つ？」

“Just one.”
「１つだけです」

“Where are you planning to put it in the house?”
「それを家のどこに置く予定ですか？」

“Living room.”
「リビングルームです」

“How about your room?
Bed room?”
「あなたの部屋はどうですか？寝室は？」

“I’m not planning to put it in my room.”
「私の部屋に置くことは計画してません」

“Ah, maybe not ‘PUT’, maybe ‘Install’,
you can say,
‘I’m not planning to install an air conditioner in my room.’
But you said have you 3 room right?”.
「あーたぶん『置く』じゃなくて『取り付ける』です
こう言って下さい、
『私の部屋にエアコンを取り付ける計画はありません』
でも部屋は3部屋でしたよね？」

“Yes, I have 3 rooms.
But 2 rooms are connected with door.
So I don’t use…How can I say??”
「はい、3部屋あります。
でも2部屋はドアでつながってます。
なので私は使わない…なんて言えばいいですか？」

“Ah May be you can say,
‘I think I don’t need another air conditioner in my room.
Because the living room and my room are connected.’
How about bed room?”
「ああたぶんこう言って下さい、
『私の部屋は別のエアコンは必要ないと思います
なぜならリビングと私の部屋はつながってるので』
寝室はどうですか？」

“Bed room is …shady???
Not hot.”
「寝室は…日陰？
暑くないです」

“Shady? hahaha…
Shaded?
It’s mean covered from the sunlight.”
「『うさんくさい？（ずさんな/いかがわしい）』ｗｗｗ
日陰？（形容詞）
これは太陽から覆われてるという意味」

“Ah yes.
It’s shaded.”
「あーはい
日陰です」

“Really?
Do you have a window?”
本当ですか？
窓はありますか？」

“Yes, just one.
but it’s small.”
「はい、１つだけ
でも小さいです」

“Wow nice!
Are you excited to move in?”
「わーいいですね！
引越しは楽しみですか？」

“Yes I’m excited.”
「はいワクワクしています」
