Today, we talked about Interstellar.
今日は、インターステラーについて話しました

My teacher asked me,
“last weekend,
I actually watched two films.
about space travel(trouble?)
First movie was The Martian,
I watched this at home.
And I also watched Interstellar.”
「先週末、
実は私は２つ映画を観ました。
宇宙旅行（宇宙のトラブル？）についての。
1つはオデッセイ、
家で観ました
あとインターステラー」

“I also watched Interstellar before.
Maybe it was long movie.”
「あぁインターステラーは私も前に観ました
確か長い映画」

“Oh really?
Like a titanic?
What can you remember about the movie?”
「あぁ本当ですか？
タイタニックのような？（長さが）
その映画について何か覚えてますか？」

“Umm…
I remember only a little.
There was astronaut man,
He went to space.
When He came back home his daughter had become an old lady.
But he didn’t take age.
Because time is slow in space.”
「うーん…
少しだけ覚えています。
宇宙飛行士の男がいて、
彼は宇宙に行きました。
彼が家に戻った時、彼の娘は年老いていたが
彼は年を取っていなかった
なぜなら宇宙の時間はゆっくりなので」

“Oh that’s correct!
You can say,
‘his daughter became an old lady.
but he didn’t grow old.’
And then?”
「あぁそうです！
こう言って下さい
『彼の娘は老婦人になっていたが、彼は老いてなかった』
それから？」

“Ah ok And then,
The back of his daughter’s bookshelf was space??”
「あーはい、それから
彼の娘の本棚の後ろは宇宙でした？？」

“Ahahaha space…certainly.”
「あはは宇宙ｗ確かに」

“And then…Umm…It was difficult story.
I can’t describe that story even so Japanese language.”
「それから…うーん…難しい話でした
私は日本語でも説明できません」

“Oh really!? ahaha.
Difficult…me too!
‘Astronauts so they went to space to look for another planet live in.
Because in the movie, earth was out to be destroyed.
People were running out of food.
Because the soil is not healthy anymore to grow plants in.
So the plants can not survive so there is no source food anymore.
The world was not so good anymore.
So they were trying to fine another planet so live on.
That’s why they went there.’ ”
「あー本当に？ｗ
難しい…私も！
『宇宙飛行士達は住むための他の惑星を探しに宇宙にに行きました。
なぜならこの映画では、地球が破壊されたから（？）
人々は食糧が不足していました。
なぜなら、もはや植物が育つには土壌が不健康だったからです。
だから植物が生き残ることができなくて、もはや食べ物の源がありません。
世界はもはや良くありません。
だから彼らは状態のいい別の惑星に住むことに挑戦しました。
それがそこに行った理由です』」

“Ah I remember.
He can move his daughter’s clock.
「あー思い出しました。
彼は娘の時計を動かすことができます」

“Umm…move?
You can say,
‘He could communicate using his daughter’s wrist watch.’ ”
「うーん…move（移動）？
こう言って下さい、
『彼は娘の腕時計を使って通信できました』」

“Ah communicate!
I understand.
And he dropped some books from behind of book shelf.”
「あぁ通信！
わかりました。
あと彼は本棚の後ろからいくつか本を落としました」

“what was that message?”
「そのメッセージは何？」

“Maybe…Don’t go!”
「たぶん…行くな！」

“Ok and ‘Stay!’
Good job in telling me about the story!””
「そうですね、あと『そこにいろ！』
ストーリーを私に言うのをよくできました！」
